Farmfoods, all the offers at your fingertips

Based in Scotland, Farmfoods has hundreds of stores scattered across the United Kingdom. Thus, finding what you need has never been easier, whether it’s frozen pizzas and meats or dried- and canned goods.

About Farmfoods

Freezing is fantastic, according to Farmfoods. As it is a natural preservation process, no chemicals are included. It helps keep your frozen goods in tip-top condition for months and months, ensuring it tastes just as fresh as the day it was picked (or caught). Thus, why wouldn’t Farmfoods use freezing to lock in that freshness?

But it’s not only Farmfoods’ preservation method that has gained a positive reputation. Thanks to the company’s team of thousands of passionate people committed to high-quality goods and service, Farmfoods has been trusted for over 66 years to deliver great value in a friendly, professional manner.

The history of Farmfoods

A thriving supermarket chain in the UK today, Farmfoods had its humble origins as a simple butcher shop in Aberdeen in 1955. In order to enhance its geographical distribution to catering outlets, the company started freezing products. This was boosted by the experimental freezer centre that was set up in Aberdeen at the start of the 1970s, and a mere five years later the company had moved its focus from manufacture distribution business to frozen food retail. After 10 more freezer centres were implemented across Scotland, Farmfoods was formed.

Farmfoods certainly had the right secret for success, as the brand had already expanded to 31 stores in Scotland by 1988. Two years later, Farmfoods acquired 18 stores from Wallis Frozen Foods and started operating in England.
